What we collect, and why
We only collect personal data in two situations: when you send us an enquiry, and when you allow analytics cookies.

We do not collect special category data, we do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
Who else sees it
- Our website and email host stores the site and delivers enquiry emails to our mailbox.
- Google (Google Analytics 4) processes website analytics data, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
- Our accountant and professional advisers, where an enquiry becomes an invoiced job.
- We will disclose data where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where data is transferred abroad it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become a contract: kept with the job records for 6 years after the end of the contract, to meet tax, insurance and construction record-keeping obligations.
- Analytics: retained by Google for up to 14 months.
Cookies
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are always set. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which will make the banner appear again.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email info@rockfirepro.co.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top.
